Hello Dan. I've been drawing since I was about 3, when I used to draw trains on the walls in my house, much to my parents annoyance! I'm 29 years old and have a degree in graphic design, though I'm definitely more of an illustrator than a designer. I went to Loughborough University School of Art & Design where I learnt how to use magic markers professionally. I am a freelance artist and illustrator by trade. I always practice drawing. Find the artist & artwork that you like the best and trace it, copy it, practice it and commit it to memory. Without knowing it, you'll develop your own style whilst doing this. The best way to become good at something is to do it so often that you become familiar with it. Find the people who are best at what you like and learn how they work. To become the best you've got to learn from the best. My main influences at the moment are Adam Hughes & Ryan Ottley. 2 totally different styles, 2 totally amazing artists! Check them out, they both have DA pages. Hope this was useful, thanks ever so much for your interest. Cheers! :w00t:
