This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello Dan. I've been drawing since I was about 3, when I used to draw trains on the walls in my house, much to my parents annoyance! I'm 29 years old and have a degree in graphic design, though I'm definitely more of an illustrator than a designer. I went to Loughborough University School of Art & Design where I learnt how to use magic markers professionally. I am a freelance artist and illustrator by trade. I always practice drawing. Find the artist & artwork that you like the best and trace it, copy it, practice it and commit it to memory. Without knowing it, you'll develop your own style whilst doing this. The best way to become good at something is to do it so often that you become familiar with it. Find the people who are best at what you like and learn how they work. To become the best you've got to learn from the best. My main influences at the moment are Adam Hughes & Ryan Ottley. 2 totally different styles, 2 totally amazing artists! Check them out, they both have DA pages. Hope this was useful, thanks ever so much for your interest. Cheers!
